Flix ‘N’ Pix Video has been serving the Oceanside area since 1992. Located in Parksville on Vancouver Island, Flix ‘N’ Pix Video carries a large selection of dvds, games, and a variety of video and gaming accessories.
This business wanted to offer more to their customers by getting online. I created a website that gives visitors the information that want quickly – the reservation number, the specials, and what movies are newly released. Visitors can also find up coming releases, and a map if new to the Parksville area.
Launched: April 2010
Update (December 2010): Newly added to the website is the full movie library, powered by jQuery and AJAX for a live search, and PHP for retrieving the information from the database. There is a custom built back-end for the owners of the website to login and add new movie titles to the library when needed. The contact form has been updated, with instant validation feedback to users using jQuery.
